People always say strange things.
They declare once and they become Kings.
But Once Upon A Long Time Ago.
There lived a young girl, who didn't know.
Didn't know the things to enter.
Didn't know life was like a splinter.
It cuts deep before she knew it was there.
Caused pain before she even thought to care.
So I guess you could say she was the victim.
Of a unpreventable painful symptom.
Because once you fall deeply into place.
You can't escape what is loves speedy chase.
She thought she could stop, because he loved her so.
But that love was a joke, he destroyed its gentle glow.
So now she has to run again.
Run faster from all those evil men.
The ones that take her for granted.
The ones who laughed and chanted.
But she wasn't paying attention, she was crying too hard.
She wasn't aware she had dropped her guard.
She ran right into another boy’s arms.
She fell in love with his wit and charms.
He showed her things she had never seen.
Half-bloods, dragons, and golden queens.
Even though she was just a girl.
She was his special pearl.
One night, when his back was turned.
There love caught fire, there love burned.
Into ashes it floated away.
He decided not to stay.
She left him, fell to another.
So he entered into a dreamless slumber.
Once he was gone, she couldn't feel.
So instead, the one she loved kneeled.
She was happy, later on.
Accepted his death, accepted he was gone.
But couldn’t shake the nagging feeling.
That he was alive, that he was healing.
He visited her again one day.
Sorrow no longer consuming him, no longer weighing.
She went away, so he left too.
Found another girl, found one that flew.
So I guess thats where our story is ending.
Love splitting, love bending.
But I guess I could relate too.
After all, I joined Leo’s crew.
Fell in love with the boy and the screw.
