I sobbed, I let the tears pour out, I just couldn't control it. Why? Why, Why did he have to die? He was the first real family I ever had! After the gods presented us with our gifts I ran off to hide. I couldn't face Percy, not yet. I know I love Percy, but I loved Luke too. I know most off camp doesn't want to have a funeral for Luke, they thought he was just a bad guy, but they didn't know the real Luke. Thalia, Thalia will understand, I have to find Thalia. I crawled out off my hiding spot, and ran to the Zeus cabin. I know being a hunter, she stays in the Artemis cabin when here, but after what just happened she would want to be alone.

I didn't even bother knocking, I just walked in. Thalia sat there for a minute, then turned around.
" Annabeth"
"Thalia, how can you deal with it?"
" the pain?"
" yes"
"Find something that makes you happy"
" what makes you happy?"
" being a hunter makes me happy, going around the world, killing monsters with a bunch of cool girls. It makes me feel like I have a family again, it helps me forget the pain"
" you want me to forget?"
" no don't forget, embrace it. Find something, someone who makes you happy. Someone who would die for you, someone who knows you, understands you."
"Percy?"
" go to him"

I hugged Thalia and left. I ran to the Poseidon cabin, and Percy wasn't there, so I ran to the beach. He wasn't there either. Where would Percy be? For all I knew he could be at the bottom of the ocean. I step into the water, and let the waves tickle my toes. And then the water started to bubble, and percy came out.

" Percy, I'm sorry -" I start
"Stop talking" he ordered, he holds out his arms and I don't hesitate, I walk right into them.
" it's so hard" I cry
" I know, but he wouldn't want you to cry about his death, he would want you to celebrate his life" Percy

I understand, we need to embrace it, we're demigods danger lurks around every corner. We must celebrate their lives, their accomplishments. And I will honor them. They all were heroes, the for sure will go to the Elysium. Or maybe try for rebirth, and get isles of the blessed. I won't live life knowing I will die and join my friends, I will live life to the fullest.

Thalia and Percy seem to be very wise, and Annabeth's supposed to be daughter of the wisdom goddess!
