The (mis)adventures of David Banner

The (mis) adventures of Dave Banner

"Ladies, Ladies, I'm sure we can figure something out here!" Dave Banner said, smiling while bound and tied. Believe it or not, this wasn't the first time he had ended up captured by the hunters. Just the first time they had tied them this tight.
One of the Hunters, her eyes and hair covered by her hood spoke to Dave, but she was obviously angry.
"Not this time David-"
"Oh please, you can call me Dave. Or babe. Or-" he was cut off by a harsh slap.
"Shut up! We've let you escape before DAVID," She put emphasis on his name, spitting a little. "But not this time! We've warned you time and time again, The Hunters of Artemis have an oath!"
"Oh, but how can I resist such a cute little thing like her?" He looked past the Head Hunter, winking at a red head who's hair was ruffled and was blushing heavily. She looked down, trying to hide her smile. He mouthed 'call me' before getting slapped again.
"Enough! If Lady Artemis didn't have such a close relationship with your mother, we'd kill you right now." Under her hood, she was blushing as well. Something about the cocky son of the moon goddess with the silver eyes and unkept black hair always seemed to tempt the Hunters.
"Oh come on Julie-"
"JULIANA!"
"Why don't we just untie me so we can all sort this out together? Or maybe just you and me can talk?" He winked, making the hunter blush darker.
"Stop charm speaking us! When Lady Artemis returns, we will discuss what to do with you." With that, she left the tent, the other hunters following behind her, the small red head waving as she left.
When Dave was sure they were gone he started struggling, trying to shake his sword hilt out of his back pocket. "Come on, stupid thing, fall out already!" He hissed, wincing as the ropes were starting to give him cuts. Finally his sword hilt fell into his hands, chuckling in his success. He aimed the end up, towards the ropes tied around him. "Sword, I would really appreciate it if you DIDNT slice my back open." He took a breath before focusing a bit of energy into the hilt, a glowing silver blade popping out of the hilts end slicing the ropes, releasing him. He stood up, rubbing is shoulders.
"Ahh, much better! Now, let's get out of here." He retracted his sword hilt and put it in his pocket, grabbing his things before stepping out of the tent...to find the hunters with their bows drawn.
The Head Hunter laughed, aiming at his forehead. "Trying to escape again Banner? We knew you had that precious sword of yours and we were given permission to kill any escaping prisoners!"
Dave frowned, unimpressed. He held up his hands in mock surrender. "Alright ladies, you got me. I give up."
They looked around, confused by his surrender, some of them nervous. Before they could move forward to tie him up, he held up a finger. "Oh, but just one thing ladies. I've learned something new sense we've last met." Before they could respond, his eyes started glowing silver, the smirk evident on his face. "I can travel across the sky as easy as the moon." Before they could respond, he shot up into the sky, a silver streak being left behind him.
---
Juliana pulled down her hood, her blonde hair tied back in a braid, her bright green eyes studying the sky.
"Lost him again..."
The redhead, Zoe, sighed blissfully, watching him leave. "Isn't he great?"
Juliana glared at her, making Zoe freeze in fear. "A great enemy I mean! So elusive!" She slunk away, ashamed.
Juliana sighed, looking back to the stars, one of the stars leaving a silver streak behind it. "Yes...he is..."
