The (mis)adventures of David Banner

"NO!" Kira shouted, breaking the illusion. Dave winced at her sudden outburst. "Damn it Kira..." He was still hidden but she was now standing, all of the amazons eyes on her. "And here she is now! Guards, bring her forward!"
Two guards rushed Kira, grabbing her by her arms and dragging her down the steps, kicking and screaming. "Hey! Let me go!"
The Amazons laughed, some of them even cheering as she was brought before the fire. The queen smirked, glaring down at her. "Well well, Kira Searle. I was hoping I'd get to see the look on your face one last time before I burnt this to ash!"
"Please, that's special to me! I don't work for my father, I don't work for anyone!"
"Lies! The children of Titans can not be allowed to live!" She pulled a knife from her sheath and began to swing down at her. Kira closed her eyes tightly, taking one last breath.
The Amazons gasped, seeing their Queen struggle. She couldn't bring her knife or her arm all the way down, something pushing against her. "What trickery is this?!"
Dave smirked, dropping the illusion to show him standing next to her, gripping her wrist to stop her. "Easy there your highness, someone could get hurt!"
The guards jumped at the boys sudden appearance, readying their spears. Dave smiled, letting the queen go and raising his hands. "Ladies, Ladies! Let's take it easy now! We wouldn't want anyone to get hurt, now would we?"
The Amazons wavered, mumbling. "No, no one should be hurt..."
"Fools! He's charm speaking you! Focus!" The Queen shouted, smacking one in the back of the helmet. They jumped to attention, holding the tip of their spears to his throat. He gulped, leaving a tiny cut as his Adam's apple rubbed against one.
"Ok, so maybe I was charm speaking a little." He admitted, "But look, I don't know what that watch does. And I don't know why big mean Kronos would give it to Kira of all people-"
"Hey!"
"But I do know, you're threatening one of my friends, which is not cool. So, I'll give you five second to run, and then I'll take that watch by force and walk right out of here with Kira, the watch, and your queens crown. One."
The guards glanced around themselves, nervous. Who was this...BOY to threaten the amazons?! And yet, his calm demeanor scared them almost as much as their queen. The Queen growled.
"Who do you think you are?! I am the queen of the amazons, one of the longest lasting orders threw mankind!"
"Two." He said, poker faced.
"Guards, seize him!"
"Three." He pulled his sword hilt, the blade popping out to form a huge bastard sword. "Four. Don't make me say what comes next." The guards looked around them selfs one last time before one of them charged. She swung her spear across, aiming for his neck. He ducked down, sliding to the left and swinging his sword, slicing the spear in half. He stood up straight, his face oddly calm. "Next." Two more charged him, thrusting their spears out. He leaped up into the air, using their momentum against them, sending them off the stage. The final guard growled in anger, pulling her sword. "Get down here and fight like a woman, coward!"
He smirked, floating back down, taking his stance. "I accept your challenge." He dashed forward, colliding his sword with hers. They traded blows back and forth, Dave occasionally yawning. The girl got angrier, slicing madly. He parried every swing, smirking. He smacked back her sword, kicking her in the stomach and sending her down the stairs.
The Queen shuddered, watching the scene. "Who...who are you?!"
Dave stood over her, glaring. "I am David Banner. I am the slayer of Tarturus and the Chimaeras bane. I fought in the last Great War and I'll be damned if I don't end up in another. I've killed the hydra with nothing more then my bare fist. I'm David Banner, son of Selene, the moon goddess of old. And you have something I want." He held out his hand for the watch. The Queens eyes widened, handing it over. "Please, don't kill me."
He glared at her one last time before raising his sword. He bashed the handle over her head, knocking her out.
"Excuse me! If you're done showing off, I'd like to leave now!" Kira was focusing her power on the crowd of Amazons, all of them running in slow motion. Kira strained against them, using all her power. Dave rolled his eyes.
"Yea yea, let's get moving." He picked up the watch from the woman's hand, taking it. She jolted up, grabbing his shirt collar, pulling him to her and whispering in his ear. "You don't know what chaos you bring Banner... This is only the beginning..." She passed out once more, breathing out. Dave pulled back, eyebrows furrowed as he backed away from her. "David, let's go!" He growled, running off.
Kira laughed in he bar, clutching the pocket watch in her hand. "We did it! We really did it!"
Dave nodded, picking at his chicken wings NOT DRINKING CAUSE DRUGS ARE BAD ((see that message there? Drugs are bad kids. Now, back to the story)).
Kira clasped his shoulder, shaking him a bit. "Thank you so much Dave, I can't thank you enough!"
"You can hold up on your promise," he turned to face her, frowning. "Where's the ship?"
Kira flinched, looking down. "Dave...look, I don't know where the ship is but I'll-"
"You tricked me?!" He stood up, kicking his chair back, eyes glowing silver. She frowned, standing up, trying to be strong. "No, I didn't trick you, I can help you find it! And with this!. She held up the watch, letting him look at it. It was a small golden watch with gears carved into it, like a piece to a steampunk cosplay. He frowned, sitting back down. "Go on..."
"Look, you know my dad is the God of time. When he was planning for me to revolt, he gave me this. If I ever made a mistake, I could use this and redo it!"
"Wait a minute...Kira, don't tell me that thing is-"
"A time machine, in a sense. I focus on where I want to do and it takes me to do it." His mouth hung open, astounded.
"I can take you to the future, ask future you what you did and then get directions! It'll be easy!"
"Kira, I don't know if-"
"Just let me do this for you." She rested her hand on his, looking into his eyes with her golden ones. He sighed, looking down at his food.
"Silver and gold, at it again?" He smiled slightly. Kira smiled with him.
"Traveling around the world, fighting monsters, being rebels, just like old times."
"It could be dangerous."
"Gods I hope so."
"We could never come back. Something could happen to that watch and we'd be stuck."
"Most likely."
"When do we start?"
