So, I'm not afraid to admit it. I screamed like a little girl. Cut me some slack, it was my first time time traveling! (Wait, is that a double negative?) Kira was laughing as we both gripped the chain of her watch, the clock winding forwards as we shot threw the vortex of golden energy.
"Come on David, it's just like flying!"
"THIS IS NOWHERE NEAR THE EXPERIENCE OF FLYING!" I shouted back at her. You ever been on a roller coaster and think to yourself 'crap, I left my stomach a loop or two back, let me go and grab that really quick'. Time traveling is like that, except you're just looking around like 'I am scattered all over the place, mind lending me my hand? No, I mean my hand, I think I left it back in 1987'. I looked down the vortex, a light seeming to get brighter at the end.
"Get ready to jump Dave!"
"I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW, DEAR ZUES!"
Kira laughed before letting go of my hand, leaping out of the wall, scattering to dust.
"KIRA!" I dove after her quickly. I think it was about here that I passed out.
My eyes slowly opened, looking up at Kira's face.

"Oh good, you're not dead. I was getting kinda worried."
"Please give me a reason I should not kill you right now."
"I got you to where you need to be. Take a look around."
I sat up, rubbing the back of my head. "Look around at what, it's just-" I stopped mid sentence, my mouth hanging open. It was Seattle, my home town, except it wasn't. Everything looked so...bright! The buildings were much higher then anything I'd ever seen before and shiny, like they were made out of chrome. Right below the clouds the buildings towered over, cars were floating by. Actual cars! Flying!
"Kira...where are we...?"
"Seattle Washington. I'd say about...2049."
"You're kidding me...wait, the top half of the space needle is flying over there!" I said, astounded by the actual flying saucer floating above the silver needle.
"Yes Dave, it actually floats now. Took it all in yet? We've gotta go and see Mr. Banner."
"Mr...?"
"Yup. Try not to look at too much, knowing too much about your future is bad for you. Think you're ok to fly?"
"Yea, I'm good...good good good..." I stood up and brushed myself off before taking her hand and floating towards the city.

Hey guys ^.^ so, I have finally returned to this story and I'm so happy to do it because I've missed writing this. I've mostly been away because of my other story Demigods United. So, I will be writing more, I know this is a short chapter but I've got a lot planned for it. Anyways, look forward to more chapters soon with Future Dave -woo spooky ahh-
