The Writer's Block
Outlining a Story
So I recently learned from a very smart person that it really helps to set up everything in your story first. Personally it's not my style, I just sorta have an idea and BAM. Word vomit onto the paper and that is basically how I got Half-Blooded, Half-Chosen.
On the other hand, some people have a really hard time seeing far ahead into their story, so sometimes setting everything down onto paper is helpful. This includes characters, basic story plots, and where the story begins, ends, etc.
