Percy Jackson, Betrayed

New Kid At Camp

I read the actual story, and fell in love. There are some grammatical errors, but the idea is pretty cool, and original. I hope you enjoy, and please don't hate me!

Three months.

That is how long Percy Jackson took to complete a quest assigned to him by Athena. The quest was rather simple. Read the Illiad. Sounds easy, right? Try doing it when your brain is hard-wired for ancient Greek, and the book is in English. Basically, that means Percy is dyslexic. The only other issue was that Athena locked him in a room until he finished.

As soon as Percy finished the book, he was magically transported to Half-Blood Hill. His head still spinning, Percy went to see Chiron. "CHIRON!" Percy waved to his centaur mentor, who was sitting on the porch of the Big House, playing pinochle with Mr.D.

The centaur stood, and motioned for them to go inside. He had a solemn look on his face. Percy walked into the Big House, ignoring Mr.D. Percy did not want to deal with the wine god after his "quest", although he risked being turned into a dolphin.

When Percy got inside, he took a seat across from Chiron, who was in his magic wheelchair.

"So, Perseus. How was your quest? It must have been quite the ordeal for it to take three months" Chiron asked curiously. Percy didn't want to dissapoint his teacher, but explained what had occured. Chiron seemed very amused. It should be mentioned that Percy had to complete this "quest" in order to get Athena's permission to marry her favorite daughter. Percy told Chiron about this before he left.

"Sooo, any clue where Annabeth is, Chiron?" Percy asked.

"I would assume her cabin," Chiron replied.

Percy took off, and heard Chiron say behind him, "Persues, I'm sorry". Being the Seaweed Brain he was, Percy paid him no mind. He was too excited to see his fiancée-to-be after three months.

====================
Percy was outside the Athena cabin. He was about to knock, when some kid came barreling out the door. He collided with Percy, sending the son of Poseidon sprawling. The kid seemed about 16, maybe a few months older. He was two inches shorter than Percy, with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes with specks of forest green mixed in, and a couple freckles. Percy was rather annoyed, since this kid didn't apologize.

"Who the Hades are you?" Percy asked, a slight edge to his voice.

The kid looked extremely shocked. "Who am I? WHO AM I? I'm Ryan Rook, son of Poseidon, the most powerful demigod in the WORLD!"

Just a name would have been fine. And... hold up, did this kid say son of Poseidon? No way was Percy related to this upstart, right? The kid was long gone when Percy snapped out of his thoughts. Deciding to ignore it, Percy knocked on the cabin's door.

Annabeth opened up, and seemed more shocked than Percy was a few moments ago.

"P-Percy!", she stuttered. "Where were you for these past few months?"

"I was on a quest," he said nonchalantly. He chatted with Annabeth for another minute before he decided to go back to his cabin. Even Percy, with his Seaweed Brain, could tell that Annabeth wasn't really paying attention. Her eyes were wandering, and she kept fidgeting. She seemed kinda nervous, but Percy didn't think anything of it.

===================
His cabin was trashed. Minotaur horn on the ground, mattress overturned, garbage scattered on the floor. Overall, quite the mess. This Rook kid was making Percy angry, but he didn't dwell on it. He had something to prepare for him and his Wise Girl. A picnic on the beach, where Percy planned to propose.

Over the next few days, Percy caught up with some friends, but rarely saw Annabeth. She was always with Ryan, who apparently wasn't dyslexic, so she spent most of her time reading with him. Percy wanted answers. He spoke to Katie Gardner.

"Oh, Ryan? He came to camp a few days ago. Killed a pack of hellhounds that were in the camp boundaries during CTF. Now all anyone talks about is how he saved the camp. Ryan this, Ryan that. It's sooo annoying," she informed him.

He was seriously being shown up by some kid who killed a few hellhounds? Unbeleivable. Percy had killed hordes of the creatures during the second Titan war. Ryan had taken his cabin, his title, and his fame. Hopefully he didn't try to TYB Percy.

Am I doing good so far?

Guess who's back, Back again. Edge is back, tell a friend. Glad your back man, I missed you. BTW, I apologize for the comment below this one. I'm an asshole. : )

What the actual fuck. You give me crap about not finishing my stories, and yet your leaving the website with like, 10 unfinished. To go to a boring run-of-the-mill website, that doesnt even have anything to do with anything in particular. Your a hypocrite liar.

Can you post the link to your first fanfic.net story?
