Percy Jackson, Betrayed

Percy Gets TYB'd

Today was the big day. The day Percy was going to propose to Annabeth. He had asked Artemis to hunt some rare animals, and Hestia had prepared them. Hera baked some desserts, and it was all in a picnic basket. Hephaestus had forged him a gorgeous ring, a thin band imperial gold with a perfect diamond from Hazel set in it. Athena had even given Percy her blessing to marry Annabeth. What could go wrong?

So Percy thought, until he got to the beach. He had already set out a blanket earlier, and on it were two figures. Percy hopped in the bushes, a bit annoyed that someone was using his blanket. He at least wanted to know who they were, so he could decide just how annoyed to be at them. It was Annabeth and Ryan.

Percy's felt butterflies in his stomach. He slowly crept towards the two until he was in earshot.

"-and he's never around! Honestly, what kind of boyfriend does that?! You are sooo different from your brother, Ry. You can even read!" Annabeth.

"I know! Aren't I amazing babe? That idiot doesn't deserve you. He isn't even a real hero. Unlike him, I actually love you, and only you." That upstart Rook was gonna make Percy a murderer.

Annabeth's eyes lit up at Ryan' response. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and the pulled him into a deep kiss. Tears blurred his vision. He took a step back, and accidentally broke a twig that definitely wasn't there earlier.

Annabeth's eyes snapped open. Thankfully, Percy's instincts took over and he crouched extremely quickly. Annabeth did a quick scan of the area, before Ryan pulled her back into their passionate kiss. Every second he saw this made him want to tear out his heart with a broken bottle. Percy brushed the tears away, to prevent any more mishaps. He treaded lightly until he was a safe distance from the beach, then broke into a full sprint.

======================
Once he reached Cabin Three, Percy slammed the door open. He quickly grabbed his backpack from under his bed. Two spare sets of close, about $200 mortal money, a bag of drachmas, a canteen of nectar, a bag of emergency ambrosia, and his Minotaur horn went in. Riptide was in his pocket as usual, and he grabbed Tyson's shield-watch off his dresser. Percy slung the bag over his shoulder, and walked at a brisk pace towards Half-Blood Hill.

Percy recieved more than one confused look from campers, but they usually just went back to what they were doing. On the hilltop, Percy dug through his bag. He found a drachma, and was about to toss it onto the street in order to summon the Gray Sisters. Percy had no real destination, just away from this gods-forsaken place. The coin sailed through the air, when a light flashed in front of Percy, blinding him.

When Percy's vision cleared, he saw Hermes. The god had caught the coin, and pocketed it.

"Perseus Jackson, you have been summoned to Olympus." Hermes grabbed Percy's hand, and the two teleported to Mount Olympus.

======================
"Perseus Jackson, I am disowning you." Percy's jaw dropped. Those were the first words he heard upon arriving at the throne room. The owner of the voice was none other than Poseidon.

"But, d- Lord Poseidon, why? What have I done?" Percy asked in shock.

"You have done nothing, which is exactly why I have disowned you. Your brother has accomplished so much more than you, and I can't have a pathetic son like you ruining my image. Now begone, hero". Poseidon sneered as he said hero.

Just as quickly as he arrived, Percy was returned to the ground. In the middle of nowhere. His mind had yet to catch up and process what had just taken place. He had been teleported, disowned and insulted, then teleported again. All in about a minute.

Percy's mind was a mess. Confusion, anger, pain, and the hollowness of being alone. No one would support him now, and he couldn't bear to show himself to his mother. Percy had no idea what to do.

"Exscuse me, are you perhaps Perseus Jackson?".

Only friends and enemies knew his full name. His friends had all abandoned him, so now it was only his enemies. Percy turned to face his assailant, but didn't bother going for Riptide. Percy welcomed death, since it seemed to be the only thing that would willingly come to him.

Percy was facing a man. He had blue hair, a smooth, pitch black face, and stars for pupils. He was wearing a suit, with what seemed to be actual galaxies on them. Some blinked out of existence, while others collided. It was mesmerizing.

This space man didn't seem to be an enemy. Then again, neither had Ms. Dodds a few years ago.

"I am Chaos, Creator of all. I have decided to make you part of my army."
