Percy Jackson, Betrayed

The thrill of the hunt. Percy rarely felt it, as he usually killed his prey before they had the chance to flee. This one was pretty good, and survived longer than others. Until Chaos called him.

Percy's phone rang quite loudly, throwing him and the monster he was chasing off their rhythm. Both fell, and Percy got up first. He pulled out his phone, and pressed talk.

"Yello, dad. Whatcha need?" Percy began

"I need to see you. Now." Chaos hung up.

Percy was confused and mildy annoyed. The monster he was chasing had gotten up during the call, and ran a little. Time to stop playing games, Percy thought, with an evil smirk. He vanished into the night shadows, and went into the monster's shadow. Percy drew his sword, and sliced through the monster's shadow. What happened to the shadow happened to the monster, which was the Minotaur.

It was a rather sinister way to kill anything, but very creative, and quick. Slicing his sword through the air, Percy opened up
a portal to Asteria. Much like Luke did, many years ago. Percy grimaced at the thought, and walked through the portal.

Chaos's 'throne room' was actually a large office. Behind the desk, on a spinny chair, sat the Lord of the universe. He looked the same as when Percy first met him, but much larger.

"You may be angry, but I have a mission for you. That crazy daughter of mine, Gaea, is rising again. With all her children, Titans and Gigantes. You know what the means, right?"

Percy knew exactly what that meant. Going back to the place where he was betrayed. Yet, Percy wasn't particularly mad about. Annabeth may have broken his heart, but looking back on it, she wasn't worth the pain. That woman was insignificant now. At least, to Percy. Luke, on the other hand, still had strong feelings for her.

It should be mentioned that when Percy became commander, he was allowed to choose a few lieutenants. Percy's only criteria were that they had to already be dead, and be a hero in his eyes. He chose Silena Beauregard, Charles Beckendorf, Luke, Bianca Di Angelo, Castor [a/n i dont know his last name], and Ethan Nakamura.

"I accept. I will take my lieutenants and go ASAP." Percy said.

Chaos had a broad smile, and dismissed Percy with a wave of the hand. Percy went back to the barracks he shared with his lieutenants. He called them into the conference room for a briefing.

"We have recieved a new mission from father. Gaea is rising, along with her children, the Titans and the Gigantes. We are to go to Olympus and aid the gods, for without us, they shall surely perish."

All of them groaned in unison. It was because of the gods' inability to handle their own problems that they were here. Now, the lieutenants weren't eager to help them again.

"Sorry, it can't be helped. Direct orders from father," Percy told them with a shrug. Another group groan. Percy summoned his sword, and opened a portal to Olympus.

When the group entered the throne room of the gods, said deities were arguing.

"I refuse to enlist help from those children of ours! We can lull Gaea back to sleep if we withdraw from the world!" Zeus thundered. His foolishness elicited a chuckle from me.

Zeus heard, and stared at me for a few seconds. He was obviously confused. Then he went crazy. He summoned his masterbolt and bellowed, "WHO DARES INTERRUPT THE COUNCIL OF THE GODS?!"

I threw an ice cube at Zeus and told him to chill.
