That's what everyone says at school but no one's done it. I want to be a first. I don't like people getting teased and I've always wanted to stand up for them, but I never saw people getting bullied, and back when I had heard that it was going on in 4th and 5th grade, I was too scared to try to stop it. That was back when I was still really shy and scared of people. Now, I wouldn't hesitate to take a blow from someone else. My religion has developed a LOT since 5th grade and I've come to love the expression of turning the other cheek if someone slaps you. It's become the model for a lot of my life. I always try to give more than people ask for.

I was never bullied much until this year, which makes me happy I'm helping, because it can start anywhere for anyone.

yeah. most people harbor their emotions. I do it myself more often than not. my friend, on the other hand, uses self harm as a plea for help. I've always tried to understand why, but since I've never really been bullied or left out and I've always had friends, I don't know what it feels like. This helps me to see what it's really like and allows me to try to put myself in the character's situation so that I can better understand my friend.

ok, well to start, I am not self harm or suicidal. I keep everything in when I am around people, and then let my emotions out when I am around those I trust. and I've been trying not to make this so much about me, because recently (yesterday) the bullying has been taken seriously (for once) and has begun to stop, but I'm glad this helps, and as a friend of mine who doesn't have an account on here has asked me to write more as well, I suppose I will!

really. It helps me to understand what a lot of people go through. I'm trying to work harder to stand up for those around me that I see being bullied. It also helps me to understand what one of my friends has been through and helps me understand why she does self harm and is suicidal

Also sometimes people say mean things but their opinions do not matter. The ugly things that they say do not have to affect your beauty.

I agree completely. bullying can also start through sexism, where someone is being sexist, somebody disagrees, they are now a target. its the same with racism.
