How I Became A Demigod

Annabeth Chase was staring at me with her stormy gray eyes. Beside her were two of her siblings Daniela and Firona Canfield, the twin fighters. Gag me. "Well, she finally shows up." Annabeth said. "Where is she?" I snarled. "You mean Carmen! Well, let's give it to her sisters!" Annabeth shouted. They stepped aside, and Carmen was lying on the ground, face bloody, twitching every now and then. I started crying. What did they do to my best friend? More anger raged inside of me then I have ever felt before. I already lost my mother (I'll explain that later) I wasn't going to lose my best friend. Not today. "You! What the crap did you do to her?" I shouted at the now smirking Annabeth. "I just returned the favor, electricity girl!" she said. I ran over to her. Right when I was about to reach her, Daniela and Firona stepped in front of Carmen. "Sorry, ride closed!" They said at the same time. I punched Daniela in the face and she doubled over in pain. Her sister slapped me and I kicked her in the stomach. They backed away. I looked at Carmen. She was worse Her face was pale. Her lips were blue. I took out the emergency bottle of Ambrosa I always kept in my pocket. I made her drink some. She turned back to normal, but stayed on the ground, still weak. I turned to face Annabeth. "Damn you! How would you like it if I went around beating up the only person you have left? My mother died on September eleventh in the World Trade Center! Carmen and Percy are the only people I have left! I swear, if Carmen would have died, you would be dead already!" I yelled so loud Olympus could hear. I started crying harder then I ever have in my life. Annabeth realized what she did. "Oh gods, I…I swear, if I would…would have know." She stammered. "Save it!" I said. Carmen was on her feet. I grabbed her hand. I took her in my cabin. "What happened?" I asked Carmen. She told me what happened. She had been walking to my cabin to tell me that she had found a guy. Suddenly, Annabeth and her sisters jumped her and started beating her up. That's when I came in. "I was more happy then ever to hear you say that you cared about me. I didn't know that you did." Carmen said. I got tears in my eyes. I gave her a big hug. We walked back to her cabin together. "Thanks." she said. "No problem!" I replied. She gave me a hug, then went in her cabin. I walked back to mine and feel asleep.
