The Circle

Once I got home I ran up stairs and took a shower, the water always took my mind off things, when ever I took a nice, hot shower I felt rejuvenated, I guess thats normal.

Once I put on my pajamas ( a tank top with comfy workout shorts) I went down stairs to have some dinner.

It was my favorite, steaming hot lentils with rice, for some reason it always brought me close to home.

"Well that was quick, I thought you were gonna be gone for about two hours, what happened dear, tell me." my grandmother said.

I looked around, trying to find a good reason besides what actually happened.

" I just felt like coming back home, I didn't want to be gone for long." I said trying to be as calm as possible.

" Ok, just as long as your safe, Im fine with that." and with that we continued eating.

The next day I decided to go to school, I kept on reminding my self that everything was gonna be fine, but how could it be, the only friend I had met so far I had already betrayed.

When I got to my locker Anna immediately approached me.

" Seems like somebody has a crush on you," she said motioning to the cute boy who happened to be staring at me.

" I dont know, is he one of your witchy friends?"

She punched me, " Go talk to him, and about that I think you should come over again, talk some more," she suggested.

" Fine," I walked over to the boy.

"If I am right, I think you were staring at me and my friend over there." I said with a devious smile across my face.

" I dont know about your friend, but I think you were looking at me too, Im Logan and you must be Emma Blake, the new girl, you know everyone's talking about you, your famous here."

" Oh so your the type who's into the popular crowd, I see, maybe I should give you my number so you dont get too lonely when Im gone."

I got out my pen and wrote my number on his hand with Emma, written under it.

" I'll be sure to call you when Im lonely."


"Ok." I said, walking back to my locker just as a girl I recognized to be one of the witch girls.

" Watch it you skank!" she said.

" Oh its you, Im Reyna, next time though you should watch where your going," Reyna said.

Nothing makes me angrier than a low life prick trying to be the boss of everyone, before I knew it, Reyna was blasted by the water fountain water and was soaking wet.

Did I do this, they said we had power, is this really true or is it really just a hoax?
