The Heroes of The Camps

The ride back in the chariot was extremely awkward.
The five of us were cramped in the small chariot, with Phoebe's feet dangling off of the Back of the chariot. Dani was being squished between me and the wall of the chariot, making it even more awkward. We rode in silence all the way to our destination.
When finally arrived, the majority of us hopped out if the wagon... except Phoebe, who fell out.

"Where are we?" Dani asked, looking around. To my right was a large house with a veranda style wrap around porch. To my left were a ton of smaller buildings that looked like cabins. Straight ahead of us was what I assumed to be a dining hall. People in orange shirts walked around the grounds, going in random directions. Some of them stared at us as they walked by.
"Camp Half Blood," Someone said behind me. I turned around and was met with a man in a wheelchair. "The place Demigods go to be safe from the outside world."
I stared at him quizzically. "Half bloods? " I repeated, looking down at my hands. "You mean all these people only have like... six pints of blood in them?"
The wheelchair guy shook his head and sighed. "No. Half bloods are a mix between God and man- you are half mortal, and half immortal." Dani brushed off some of the dirt on her shirt.

"But that doesn't make any-" the guy interrupted her.
"Can you please escort this young lady around the camp?" Chiron said, gesturing to the girl who had brought us here. The girl sighed.
"Sure. Come with me." The girl said as Dani obediently followed.
"Your friend will be taken care of," the wheelchair man said. "I am Chiron. Pleasure to meet you, lad." I blinked, staying silent. "Oh!" Chiron said, waving his hand in the air. "May, dear? Could you come here for just a moment? " He said to someone behind me. "I need you to show a new camper around."

"Sure!" A female voice said. I turned around and was greeted by a tall girl with brunette hair. "Right this way..." She motioned for me to state my name.
Iratus." I said. May gave me an odd look. "Call me Ira." I said under my breath. May shrugged and motioned for me to head over in the direction of the U shaped area of small buildings.
"Oh, and May," Chiron called after us. "Bring him back to the Big House when you are finished." He paused. "I need to have a chat with Mr. Iratus."
