The Trident Seekers

Chapter 11

When we reached the Camp fire, it was ready dark outside, the moon now full, and I could see all the different constellations clearly out here. I saw Saggitarious, the Draco, and as I looked farther, I saw, unmistakably, a girl, bow outstretched. A hunter, is what it looked like.
Aaron and I found a long log bench to sit on, as the fire was burning bright, with different colours reaching up and around the flames.
The Apollo campers were singing ballads, some played guitar, or an old Greek instrument Aaron had told me was a Llyre.
Many spoke with their friends, many didn't, they just gazed into the fire, thinking.
Aaron reached up and put his arm around me, I leaned in, and placed my head on his shoulder. He squeezed my hand, and gently stroked my palm, idly, with his thumb.
I sighed. This was perfect, we were perfect, the night was perfect. Or at least it would be if her father claimed her.
She was scared, what if he didn't claim her? What if she'd be stuck in the Hermes Cabin for weeks?
A thousand questions raced through her mind, and she wanted them answered.
She looked up, and saw a boy standing. He was glowing.
A red glowing hammer appeared over his head. He was being claimed.
Chiron bowed, like this happened all the time, and said gravely:
"Hail, Carter Philips, son of Hephaestus, fire bearer, weapons master, forger of metals." Some bowed with him, some stared.
I was scared at that point.
I seriously wanted this claiming thing to get over with.
"It'll come, don't worry." Aaron said, reading my thought.
I smiled, and kissed his cheek. I hope he was right.
I closed my eyes, and the darkness overtook me.

I fell asleep on Aaron's shoulder. He didn't mind though, in fact he was grinning when I woke up.
"what'd I miss?" I said, yawning.
He kissed my forehead. "Three more people were claimed."
That kinda took me by surprise. Three was a lot, and I still haven't been claimed
"This claiming thing is taking longer then I thought." I said, frowning.
Aaron didn't reply, I looked up at him, and he was staring above my head. He looked confused and terrified at the same time.
"What? Am I being claimed?" I said nervously.
Aaron looked at Chiron. "This is wrong, Chiron, her mother is an Aphrodite demigod, Sandy is a granddaughter of Aphrodite. It's not her mom, her father is of the Big Three." Aaron told him.
Was I being claimed by Aphrodite? How did Aaron know this about my mother?
"If what you say is true Aaron, then we may have a problem." Chiron said darkly.
"Aaron, how do you know so much about my mom? And my father being of the big three?" I asked him.
"My dad confronted your mother about her being a demigod, and knowing you were. She said her mother was Aphrodite, and that you were a child of the big three. She refused to say who, she said I was dangerous for the gods to know about you. Because of the pact." He explained.
"Okay I am done, with this confusing puzzle, of who the hell my father is! Why hasn't he claimed me yet?" I shouted, I was frustrated. And I wanted answers.

Thank you!

@Burning Sun
It's totally fine:) thank you for letting me know I really appreciate it! And glad you like it:)) I'm really not one for lemon either, just thought the moment needed it☺️

Okay, I'm not dissing your story, I LOVED IT, I mean, up until you wrote the lemon. It's a good story, and yeah, the lemon got some key points across about how close they are, but I think you could find a non-lemon way to tell the readers that.
