STACEY POV

"CONNOR STOLL, I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!"

I quickly shot awake. Who in the name of freaking Zeus was shouting like that at a time like this? This person was going to pay for it, shouting like this so early in the morning. I groaned and went out to see who was shouting like that. I squinted at a distance and saw Nico chasing the Stoll brothers, waving his sword. I ran towards them, not wanting to miss the action. Till I reached them, Nico had trapped them in a cage made of skulls and the brothers were laughing their asses off. "What's so funny?" I asked. "They...they...they painted my cabin and dyed all my clothes in the colors of the rainbow!" Nico burst out.

My eyes widened. I looked down at Nico and saw that what clothes he was wearing were also dyed rainbow. I tried to control. If I let it out, Nico would kill me. But I couldn't. It started with a snort and erupted into full fledged gales of laughter. I was rolling on the ground with laughter. Nico looked at me in shock. "Your clothes" I managed to say before laughing again. He looked down and gave a strangled gasp and started pulling at them. I could see people coming towards us. "Nico, we've got company" I said. He looked up and yelped. He grabbed my hand and said, "I need your help, coming?" . "Help for what?" I asked him. "You'll know" he replied and walked mnto a tree. I barely had time to gasp when we walked into the shadows. A cold blast of air hit my face and it was pitch black. The next minute, we entered the Hades cabin. I looked around, and well, I think it was the Hades cabin.

The walls were covered with rainbows and clouds and ponies were jumping from the clouds. I bit my lip and asked Nico, "why do you want my help?". " Well, since you got me in this mess, I want to ask for two things. First, could you make the walls of the cabin normal?" He asked me. I shook my head. "This is going to take some serious magic and I don't know how to, I've not trained in magic" I explained. "Why didn't you train? Your a sorceress, right?" He asked me. I looked away and replied, "too many bad memories". " What?" Ha asked. "Nothing" I said and went to the walls. "I'm just gonna try" I stated and touched the walls. I closed my eyes and let my mind wander. I followed the golden trail of light in my mind and came to the end, where there was even more light. I let it wrap myself around me, and could fell my fingertips getting warm. I opened my eyes and saw the walls had turned black again. I could fell the strength slip away from me and I collapsed to the ground.

I woke up to see a pair of dark, blackberry eyes hovering above my face. I tried to get up but my head started spinning and I lay down again. My vision cleared and I saw Nico sitting next to me, on a chair. "Are you fine? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked you to do that" he said. "Its fine" I croaked and looked around me. I was lying down on of the beds and Nico was in a chair next to me. "Here, have this" he said and gaved me a glass. I swallowed it and was immediately freshened. "Its unicorn drought" he explained. I nodded and sat up. "What was the second thing you wanted my help for?" I asked him. He grinned and replied, "I thought you would never ask". " So, what is it?" I asked. "I want to booby trap the entire Hermes cabin". " I like the way you think" I said back, grinning.

Nico and I were hiding behind a few bushes near the Hermes cabin. We had booby trapped them with glue and feathers. On the whole, it was a really good idea. By whom, yours truly. The Hermes cabin members were off to sword practice and we were waiting for them to come back. I saw them walking in, led by Connor and Travis. Nico and I grinned at each other and waited for the action to unfold. They switched on the fans and the entire cabin was filled with feathers. All the cabin members were attacked by feathers. After a while, when the fans slowed down, Connor bent down to take a piece if paper. I waited with bated breath. "We didn't leave any notes" Nico whispered. I shushed him. Connor read out,

"From your friendly neighborhood, Nico di Angelo"

"Find the punk!!" Travis shouted and all the campers swarmed out, while Nico was giving me death glares. "If I were you, I would start running" he told me. I gave him a goofy grin and stood up and shouted out loud, "CHICKENS!". " Shut up!" Nico told me and stood up. The campers turned around and saw us. "Uh oh" I said and Nico and I started running. But the Hermes people caught up with us, and well, you can guess what happens next.

PIPER POV

Stacey gave a muffled shout as I pulled out the last feather from her hair. "It was the last one" I said and sat down. Sam, Annabeth, Calypso and I were taking turns removing all the feathers from her hair. But since her hair were so thick and long, it took a long time, but finally it was done. "Perhaps if you had not done that booby trap, you would not have been in this mess" Sam told her. "I couldn't help it, the opportunity was too good" Stacey replied. She picked up a brush and started yanking at her waist length hair to untangle them.

After half an hour, she was done and we all walked out towards the amphitheater. All the boys were started coming from the other side. I noticed a feather still stuck in Nico's hair, but I stayed quiet. Stacey didn't. She mock saluted him and said, "Chief Nicolas Ahawi". He looked at her in confusion and said, " What?". "You look just like a Red Indian Chief" she replied. Nico continued giving her the same look. She sighed and plucked the feather out of his hair. "Oww" he said and rubbed his head. "You have a feather in your head, feather head" Stacey remarked. "All thanks to you" he replied.

"Me?" She said.

"Oh yes, weren't you the one who shouted chicken!"

"It wasn't my fault that you were running so slowly and that caught up with us"

"And who left the note there? And whose bright idea was it to bury me?"

"I was getting bored! You shouldn't have agreed to the prank!"

"But I had to shut you up! You were driving me crazy!"

"Well you should have done something entertaining other than agreeing to the plan!"

"Oh yeah, I should have called some skeletons to dance with me!"

"That would have been nice,..."

"SHUT UP!" Sam shouted, interrupting them from their rant. She shook Stacey be the shoulders so hardly, I was sure her eyeballs were rattling. "Okay, okay. Stop shaking me like a bottle of syrup" Stacey said. Sam stopped shaking her. They both looked so cute fighting together, Stacey and Nico. See, my daughter of aphrodite instincts kicking in. Annabeth gave me a knowing wink. I winked back. Chiron called everyone to get their attention. We all took our seats, when Sam, who was sitting next to me, muttered, "She will fight the hind leg of a donkey, but she will fight". I laughed and turned my attention towards Chiron. " Four days from today, the chariot races will be held. Alliances may be made. Winners will get one month free of chores. No cheating allowed" he said. All around, people started talking and making groups. Stacey was whispering something with Percy. With the looks of it, Athena and Poseidon cabins had formed an alliance. No surprises her. Jason had teamed up with Nico, as usual. "Stacey, you can handle the chariots this time, with Sam" Percy told her. "Thanks!" She replied.

"Aww, Percy's baby sister is getting a chance to ride the chariot" Jason teased in a falsetto voice. Stacey scowled at him and said, "I am not anybodys baby sister".

" O, but you are so much younger than him" Jason replied. "Want to challenge me?" Stacey asked him, raising an eyebrow. "You can bet on it" he replied. "You are so going to lode, Grace" she said, flipping her hair behind her back. Thing were going to get exciting.
