Just a little story
The eighth little story
I stared at Isabel. "You're a daughter of the Big Three?"
She nodded. "I found out last summer."
I tried to process this. My girlfriend-my best friend, my only friend-was the daughter of the god of the sea.
I smiled. "Well, this would explain how special you are."
She moved closer and I could smell her fruity lip balm. "You really think so?" She whispered.
"I know so."
She brought her lips to mine and I placed my arm around her waist. She leaned against me until I fell on my back on the flat rock. She layed down next to me and slow kissed me.
I don't know how much time passed, but I was woken by the evening bell signaling dinner. I looked down and noticed Isabel breathing softly against me, her head leaned on my shoulder. I
gently shook her shoulder. Her eyes flickered open. "What time is it?" She asked sleepily.
"Around dinner." I replied. I slipped out, holding her, and pulled her to her feet. She leaned
against me as we walked to dinner.
By the campfire, I was joined by Isabel, who sat next to me and didn't say anything. I listened to Chiron making announcements until I heard my name.
I turned and saw Chiron looking at me. He gestured and I walked down. He introduced me. Someone yelled, "Regular or Undetermined?"
Chiron frowned and spoke. "Undetermined."
A collective groan rang out, joined by a growl that made me shiver. Everyone fell silent.
"What was that?"
Chiron's eyes were trained behind me. "Chris, do not move."
I turned around despite his directions and found myself face to drooling face with a hellhound.
@Morningstar.
Yes :) I'm very happy!
