My Life as the Daughter of Poseidon: Book One: True Me, True You

I meet my fictional idols

As we rested under the shade of a large oak tree, bloody and exhausted from the monsters we were learning how to fight. Marco, Shera, Christy and I talked about where we would find the camp, as we had all read Percy Jackson. I just couldn't stop wondering... why would Rick Riordan publish books about this place if it were real? Do the demigods know?! They would have to, right?! Then, I saw it. And then I heard it. Thalia's pine. And the Peleus was not the one making the noise. I turned around to see a spellbound barreling towards us. "RUN!" I yelled, grabbing a large pointy stick, stood my ground, the monster was about to run over me...

I felt heat on my face as I opened my eyes to see a large pink maw with a lounge lolling out of it. "Mrs. O' Leary?" I asked, hopeful that the creature in front of me would decide not to eat my face, and the one riding it would be Nico di Angelo or... Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase jumped off of the hellhound and looked towards us. "Run to the border!" yelled Percy, as Annabeth grabbed Christy and Alisia and began sprinting to the border, the rest of us not far behind, running towards the lights and sounds of cheering at the campfire. Then I heard more growling, and returned around to find that the creature I had heard earlier was not Mrs. O' Leary, but a cyclones holding a gigantic club. Percy yelled at us to run faster, but the monster paid no attention to him, instead focused on me, the only demigod who hadn't reached the entrance to camp. I started running as fast as I could, just a few more yards, when I tripped on something, and fell to the ground. I heard a crack, and my skull flashed with pain, and then everything went black.

Notes

I could hear the crack of Tsunami's head when she hit the ground... now my head is throbbing too!

No problem. I honestly love the story. Sure the chapters are short, but you got a good plot. :)
