My Life as the Daughter of Poseidon: Book One: True Me, True You
I Adjust To Having A Ryhming Name
"Hey, Christiana Ressina, daughter of Athena!" said Jack, the completely annoying son of Hermes. I stared at him running over to me for a second before sprinting away. I didn't know if this guy could swim or not, but I figured even if he could, I would still be faster then him. I tore off my gray Harvard t-shirt and peeled off my jean shorts to reveal my plain turquoise one-piece, and when I made it to the docks, I threw my stuff to the ground and kept running. Straight into the ocean. When it was deep enough, I curled over and dove into the waves, loving the salty sting on my skin. When I looked up, however Jack was already taking off his shirt....
Whaaa?! No I wasn't staring at him!
He came running into the water after me.
"Christy!" he yelled again. I stood waist deep in the waves, knowing that I could get away from his easily.
"You're one hard girl to catch!"
I smiled. NO! It was just a small smile!
"Well before you ran away from me, I was going to ask you if you wanted to go to the Fourth of July Fireworks with me!"
I put on a confused expression.
"So I figured I might as well ask anyway. Would you like to go with me?"
I smiled again, a real smile this time. "Can I tell you at dinner?"
"Sure!"
He began to walk off before turning around to face me.
"You know, Christy, you'd make a good daughter of Artemis, ya know, aside from the no dating part!"
We both blushed as he walked away. I figure you know what I told him at the campfire.
Notes
So there you have it! Just so my friend doesn't maim me (even though she will after she reads this chapter) I wrote about Christy! Enjoy!
