The Trident Seekers

Chapter 9

We started towards the dining pavilion, and some people would stop, and stare. Other whispering about Sandy, some whispering about me. Why me? You'd have to ask them.
Because I'm deffinetly not news worthy.
I've always minded my own business at camp, never acting like an Aphrodite kid, always butting into other peoples personal lives. But now I understood what they were talking about.
They were talking about my past with Sandy.
Right then, and there I wanted to go and cover the mouths of the girls talking about us. They were Aphrodite girls though, you litterally CAN'T shut them up.
"…they were together a few years back…broke up with him."
"…she disappeared…didn't speak to him for 2 years..."
"…I guess she came crawling back…and he's with her now."
Ugggghhhhh!
They never gave up! They always found something, a simple piece of information, and made it into something huge.
I ignored them, and squeezed Sandy's hand gently.
We got into the dining hall, and I walked over to Chiron.
He looked at our joined hands, and smiled, taking our status into check.
"Uh, I was thinking, and Sandy is undetermined, so she has to sit with a bunch of strangers from the Hermes cabin. I was wondering if she could sit at the Hebe table? It's just me anyway." I asked, smiling politely. I knew the rules, all demigods of the godly parent it at the same table. No switching. Ever.
Chiron frowned."You know the rules Mr.Redmond. She is undetermined, therefore must sit at the Hermes table. Camp rules. I can't allow this without allowing the other campers as well." He said.
Sandy frowned. I did a small sigh, quickly hidden.
I turned toward the Hermes table, they were talking, mostly arguing, blaming each other of stealing another's candy bar or something. I guided Sandy towards the table.
As I reached the table, Travis and Connor Stoll, the heads of the Hermes cabin, snapped they're heads up, and smiled michieviously.
"Is she a regular? Heard she's new." Connor said.
"No she's undetermined, hopefully tonight she'll be claimed." I explained.
The table grunted in response. The undetermined demigods would stay in Cabin eleven until they were claimed. Cabin eleven, Hermes, takes all new comers, all visitors. Naturally they would, Hermes, they're father, was the god of travellers.
"I'll come get you before the camp fire, okay? Try to make some friends." I said.
She nodded, and pressed her lips to mine, quickly kissing me before sitting down at the end of the table.

Thank you!

@Burning Sun
It's totally fine:) thank you for letting me know I really appreciate it! And glad you like it:)) I'm really not one for lemon either, just thought the moment needed it☺️

Okay, I'm not dissing your story, I LOVED IT, I mean, up until you wrote the lemon. It's a good story, and yeah, the lemon got some key points across about how close they are, but I think you could find a non-lemon way to tell the readers that.
