Jail-Break

Ming and I headed down the poorly lit corridor with peeling white walls. The ground was a cracked asphalt of some sort, which was pretty odd. There were three doors at the end of the hallway, each of them locked.

"Ming," I said, pointing to the lock on the door. "Do you know how to pick a lock?" Ming stared blankly at me. "L-o-c-k, " I said slowly. "P-i-c-k. Umm, habla Engles?" I said, hoping he knew Spanish.

Someone in the distance yelled at us in Chinese, and Ming put his Fists up, ready to fight the three guards coming our way.

"Frick." I said as I tried multiple times to pick the lock. I looked behind me as a blur of mangled bodies twisted around trying to put each other in holds and bring Ming to the ground. Ming reached around and blocked an incoming baton, twirling It around and yanking it from the guards hand, jabbing him in the groin, then the stomach, then to the jaw. He deflected another baton from striking his leg, then grabbed one of the guards incoming fist and using it as leverage to get behind him and use the guard as a human shield while the last guard standing tried to get any hits on Ming. He finally tossed his baton at Ming, missing, and started to run away, but Ming dropped the body he was holding and caught up to the guard, grabbing his temples and twisting his head all the way back, brutally snapping his neck with a loud crunch.

Ming returned to me, and pushed me aside. Pulling a key from his pocket that he stole from one of the mangled bodies on the floor. He turned the key and the door swung open. It led to an outdoor courtyard, surrounded on three sides by the prison, but the last side was open, with only two wire fences preventing us from escaping the jail.

"What now?" I asked as Ming surveyed our surroundings. He held a finger up, and I could practically see a light bulb turn on above his head. He strode over to the fence, and held his hands together. I put my foot between his hands and he hoisted me up, over the fence. My feet landed on the gravel that was separating the first fence from the second fence. Ming passed the key through the fence and I headed over to the gate, unlocking it to let Ming through, then locking it to keep the guards that were on their way from getting to us. He held his hands together again, and we repeated the step jump again.

"How are you going to get over?" I asked. There wasn't another door to open up the second fence, so Ming was stuck inside the second fence. The guards had managed to unlock the door and rushed in, each holding Ming at gun point. He motioned to the alley way behind me.

"Go, you American idiot!" Ming yelled as the first policeman discharged his weapon, hitting Ming in his leg. He knew English the whole time?!

"Ming!" I yelled as the rest of the officers opened fire on Ming. Blood splattered the ground, pulled holes puncturing Ming all over his body.

"Go!" Was Ming's last word as a bullet passed through his head. Ming slumped over in the pool of blood, motionless. The officers pointed in my direction, firing off a few rounds, but none of them hit me. I fled the scene, running down an extremely long alleyway. The policemen shouted from the other end, each firing down the narrow alley I was escaping in. I was almost to the end of the alley when a bleed struck my side, causing me to fall to my knees.

I crawled into a small hut, closing the door behind me as I bled out, alone in the shake with nothing but the darkness accompanying me. My side was exploding in pain, and I felt my side for an exit wound.

There wasn't one... which meant I had to take the bullet out of my body.

@The Bright One
Who? Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with the Maury Povich show that this site has turned into as of late. (For you, the New Zealander, the Maury Povich Show is a dramatic relationship-ruining talk show where deadbeat dads have to face the fact that they have to pay child support. Look it up, the stuff's hilarious.)
