It's A Jungle Out There

Leila and I had started going out. Neither of us were sure if we were lesbian or bi, but we knew that we liked each other and that's what mattered. We had just sat down to the campfire when I saw a set of panpipes bathed in green light above Leila's head.
"What the-"
"ALL HAIL LEILA, THE ONLY DAUGHTER OF PAN EVER TO LIVE!"
Everyone got down on one knee, including me. Leila gaped like a fish, especially when her Camp Half-Blood shirt and jean shorts turned into a tunic made of leaves woven together, leaving her barefoot and cold-looking. I put my arm around her and gently guided her out to the woods. She took a deep breath, which looked kinda scary, because her eyes were blank, as if she were a zombie. Major creepy.
Her eyes opened wide, and she ran into the woods. I chased after her until she stopped in front of three large, tall, wide oak trees. She stepped into the middle of them, and I saw light swirl around her. I shielded my eyes, and when the light was gone, so was she.
"Leila? Leila?! Leila?????!!!!!"
I stepped into the circle where she had been.
All of a sudden, my whole body felt numb, and light was everywhere. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them again, the oak trees were more like the height of the Empire State Building.
"What the-"
"Jessie!" Leila was right in front of me, and it was then that the realization hit me.
We had shrunk.
